Amy Hoffman, author of" Lies About My Family," and Hester Kaplan author of "The Tell"

A writer and community activist, Amy is currently editor in chief of Women’s Review of Books and a faculty member in the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program of Pine Manor College. Her new memoir, "Lies About My Family," will be released in the Spring of 2013: "I began writing "Lies About My Family" because I was wondering about the stories that families tell—the stereotyped ones that are told over and over."

Hester's latest novel, "The Tell," is forthcoming in January 2013 from HarperCollins.
