A timeless love story of romance, betrayal, deception and forgiveness comes to Providence in the one of the world's best-known ballets, Giselle.
Artistic director Herci Marsden has chosen three remarkable couples to dance the lead roles; the Saturday show is the hometown debut of State Ballet alumnus Corey Bourbonniere, a dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
Giselle tells the story of a charming maiden who dies of a broken heart. From the spirit world she forgives her deceptive suitor.
