There’s no escaping this carnival and apocalypse, but they’ll try to anyway because it’s what you’re supposed to do in a play inspired by Mexican B-movies.Â

VICTOR I. CAZARES hopes to one day direct a really a good donkey show and make a telenovela in which the antagonist wins. He was born in El Paso, Texas and San Lorenzo, Chihuahua, Mexico. A founding member of new theater house (nth), his plays include The Dead Women of J-Town & Smiley, American (tele)Visions, The Whale Play, Dodo Solastalgia, Religiones Gringas, The Night T K Felched Me, The Bottoms of Woonsocket, and Pouches: A Children’s Play. He holds a B.A. in History of Art from Yale University where he received a Josef Albers Fellowship and a Sudler Grant. He’s currently an M.F.A. candidate at Brown University.Â
