Drury joins Trinity Rep Artistic Director Curt Columbus for a discussion of her play Social Creatures, on stage in its world premiere at Trinity 3/14-4/21.
Social Creatures is a beautifully strange “dramedy,” a sidesplitting, terrifying look at what lies ahead for us at the end of the world. Drury will talk with Columbus about the state of American playwriting, what it means to be a woman writer & a writer of color for the American theater, & why she’s drawn to genocides & the end of the world.
