"Dance Dance Party Party" Going Strong at Perishable Theatre The ladies only dance sensation, DanceDancePartyParty, recently returned from summer vacation to Perishable Theatre in Providence. Every Friday at 5:30 PM, Perishable's 3rd Floor dance studio fills with all kinds of women, age 20-60 . Co-hosts DJ CoolBritt and DJ Buddmobile dim the lights, throw on a mix of songs from every era and genre, and fire up the disco ball. Then something extraordinary happens. The ladies kick off their shoes and start dancing-just because it's fun! There Is No Teacher so ladies can feel free to do what they want. Want to spin? Spin! Want to jump? Jump! Want to sit in the corner and do yoga? Sweet! Do it! DanceDancePartyParty is just like being out at a club with girlfriends-without the expensive cover charge and sweaty dudes grinding on you and asking for your number. Participants are guaranteed that they can do their funkiest, craziest dance moves and no one will bat an eye because everyone else will be doing the same. Since January 2008, DDPPProv has fostered friendships, seen fabulous guest DJ's, helped women recover from brain surgery and breast cancer, given gals countless hours of "me" time, and been named the Best Dance Party in Rhode Island by Ri Monthly. One regular calls it "the best thing since sliced bread!" DJ Buddmobile notes that particpants have been known to shout along to "Fight for Your Right to Party" and "Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" with equal conviction.
