Catherine Little Bert of the Bert Gallery in Providence will introduce us to the many women artists, patrons and organizers who are part of Rhode Island’s artistic history. Mrs. Jesse Metcalf, Emma Swann, Rosa Peckham and Mary C. Wheeler are but a few of these women. Women were founders of the Rhode Island School of Design, the Providence Art Club, the Handicraft Club and the Newport Art Association. Please register. Co-sponsored by the Wickford Art Association.
