Mardi Gras Madness

The Big Easy Rolls into Brockton on Saturday, March 9th
Brockton, Mass –Brockton Day Nursery is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Mardi Gras Madness Fundraiser. On Saturday, March 9, 2012 at 7 p.m., the authentic New Orleans style event presented by Cumberland Farms/Gulf Oil will be held at The Shaw Center located at 1 Feinberg Way in Brockton. P
roceeds from this event will help support programs and enrichment at Brockton Day Nursery for all students’ age 0-13 years.

Attendees will have the chance… Show more to sample a wide variety of authentic Cajun cuisine and American foods including King Cake, the signature dessert of Mardi Gras. There will also be a chance to win prizes from a raffle drawing along with a silent auction and live auction featuring items such as a timeshare in Vegas, hotel stays, restaurant packages, gift certificates, and family outings.

This year’s Grand Marshall of events is 3-Time Superbowl Winner Patrick Pass, former New England Patriot. The entertainment for the evening will include music by the Hot Tamale Brass Band, a popular area band, followed by DJ music from Rob Peters Entertainment. Dress is business casual or festive attire. The evening will also include a cash bar with signature drinks of Mardi Gras including the “Hurricane”, a raw bar and plenty of activities to keep all who attend thoroughly entertained.
